7 pc Universal Barrel Trimming System Here’s a complete barrel trimming system. An essential step for making a quality pen project is to square the end of your pen blanks and pen tubes prior to final pen kit assembly. Our system includes cutting shafts that will fit into a drill chuck or lathe chuck – the shaft will clean the glue from the tubes and act as a pilot for the 3/4" squaring cutter. This complete system includes: • 7mm, 8mm, 3/8", and 10mm pilot shafts • 3/4" squaring cutter , allen wrench and instructions • Sleeve adapter for #PKPARK-PCL and #PKMONT-PCL pencil kits

I've used the barrel trimmer for each of the 9 pens I've made so far and it has worked perfectly for each of them. The cutter is quite sharp as seen from the shavings of wood and the 1 acrylic blank that I've done so far. I've used 3 of the shafts so far and all are perfectly straight and they clear the glue from inside the tube nicely. I anticipate using this set for every pen I make.

I have had issues with getting parts to meet squarely until I purchased this kit. I now get a nice clean and tight finish to my pens.

The 4 blades greatly reduce the chipping out you get with a 3 blade trimmer, & less ruined blanks!
