Clip needs to be redone

I like the slime pens overall, and I like the look of the clip. However the back ball of the end of the clip needs to be solid. I have had one of these kits snag and rip due to the open part of the back of the clip. Whenever I can I use the straight clips now. Otherwise a good pen.

I like this one alot. I use it most of the time. I have made 20 pens with this one and people that I show them to want them so thats one reason why I like it alot. I use all kinds of blanks on them.

Quality at a great price

First I use this kits because I prefer the looks over many others and they are a true bargain in my mind. If your new to pen turning these are good to start with, they are cheap enough you give away your mistakes while you learn to make better pens. I have had a few problems with the transmission being a little tight but still able to assemble. I just ordered a large lot and wish I could buy more. I prefer the whole kit be gold without any black, I wish they had the pencil in the same style so you could make sets

Excellent pen, I had 15 kids at my guitar shop building these pens and we had no problems. The pens went together easily, wrote nicely and turned out beautiful, and the service was quick and packaged well. This was a great opportunity to introduce novices to the the art of wood working, in a few hours they were able to complete their own work of art and shre it with pride to families and friends. Makes a beautiful pen

I use the pen kits for polymer clay not woodworking. They were very easy to put together. However, one of my pens came with the pen cartridge a little bent. It still wrote but not very well. I wish the twist mechanism was a little easier to get into the blank. I bent some of them putting them together. I eventually got the hang of it. But I still have to be careful. They are a very good buy for the money and I will buy them again.
