MAJESTIC JR.

MY FIRST TIME MAKING ONE OF THESE PENS. IT IS UNBELIEVINGLY BEAUTIFUL. BUT, THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE A BIT CONFUSING. THERE ARE 2 O RINGS WITH THIS KIT, BUT THEY DONT SHOW UP IN THE INSTRUCTIONS. BUT, THIS IS A FANTASTIC PEN. IT IS BIG, BUT NOT TOO HEAVY. I JUST ORDERD MORE.

Best of the Best

Of all the high end pens the Jr. Majestic is far and away my favorite. It is beautiful, easy to turn and has great balance. As with all pens of this type you have to be very careful in matching the wood on top and bottom segments. It takes some practice to learn how to do this because of the threading. Second, the threading can start in more than one place, so place the clip so that a starting place on the barrel is easy to find and can be aligned on the clip.

Great uperclass pen

I have assembled several of these pens. The parts are well made and assemble to produce a great looking pen. People that use them state that they have a comfortable balanced feel and that they enjoy writing with them. The only reason that I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because the black TN is not always black.

Majestic Jr.

I turned the the larger Majestic style previous to this kit. While the regular Majestic turned out gorgeous, I wanted a pen that was more realistically sized to use on a regular basis. The Majestic Jr. is an excellent combination of weight, size, and class while showcasing the wood. I used Hawaiian Koa with a CA gloss finish, and it was a stunning project. The Schmidt safety ceramic refill writes very gracefully.

Quality pen

Good looking and easy to assemble, but be careful some times its a little tight to press together. You may have to relieve some of the tightness by sanding the inside of the tube a little. I used ebony and the next day it had cracked.

Majestic Jr Rollerball Pen

I have been making pens for a couple of yrs now and feel this is by far the best pen that I have had the pleasure of making. Easy to follow instructions, I love the box it comes packed in, and it makes a rock solid pen. No need to worry about this one coming back for repairs. A nice, heavy pen that helps us men work on our upper body development as we are writing. I can't wait to make another. I feel the price is very reasonable with the quality of this pen compared to prices of pens of lesser quality. Thanks Penn State, Keep up the good work.

Some disappointment

I am somewhat disappointed with this pen. After putting it together, the cap is very difficult to put on the writing end of the pen. Looks great, but function is lacking due to cap sticking and unbalanced with the cap on the end opposite end when writing.

Majestic Junior Testimony

Beautiful. Simple to make and very elegent in either plating choices. Preferred because it allows the user to "park" the writing cap when the pen is in use.

Monochrome Majestic Jr.

This pen looks great with light tan woods, I used a spalted Tamarind blank. The colors and the contrast of the tan and plating look great!
