The best of the uper class pens

I have assembled several of these pens and have found that the kits are very well made and simple to assemble. People are always very pleased with the look feel and function of the pen. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is that on some pens the black TN is black and on others it is not. This can be a problem when producing a matched set.

Majestic Jr. Fountain Pen

The kit is very attractive, instructions were good and all parts assembled easily. I found that putting a small amount of lubrication (wax worked well for me) on the Center Band Assembly made insertion into the Upper Tube easier due to the length of the Assembly.

Great addition to my line.

Great alternative for the Majestic pen. This kit made a big splash with my customers and was well received as Christmas gifts. This will become a staple and kept in stock.

Very nice presentation pen

Great pen for your more discerning customers. Quality and heft to go with the most beautiful blanks you can find. Not difficult to make, but demanding to make the perfect pen.

Glue in the clip.

This is an excellent kit. The hardware is very well made and the fit is smooth and solid feeling. This is one of my favorites of the pricier pens. I have had a number of customers say that they wouldn't buy anything larger for everyday use, but this still has a very satisfying heft to it. One recommendation I would make is to apply just a spot of glue when pressing in the end piece. When using the clip I have noticed that the end can get pried out just enough to allow the clip to spin, scoring the pen barrel. I really wish more of the pens had locating slots for the clips. It's a shame to put all that work into a beautifully finished barrel and then have a nice groove worn all the way around by a loose clip.

Majestic Jr. Fountain

The Majestic Jr. Fountain pen is a nice kit, smaller than the Majestic it is still a fairly large pen. I used a piece of Amboyna burl (a kit like this deserves a special blank).It immediately stands out from the lower priced kits and exudes a look of quality. I wish they would show more photos of completed pens in different materials and plating combinations to give myself and others a better idea what combinations looks good together. All in all a great pen that should sell for many times it's kit cost. Thanks, Lenny

Majestic is right!

This was my first experience with a high-end pen kit, and I was not disappointed! This kit was easy to make, the fit was great, and the results were just awesome! My customer for this pen has raved about it for almost a week, and is considering a second one in a different wood. While he would have prefered a fine nib instead of a medium, he said this is the smoothest pen he has ever used.

Majestic Jr. kit

This is a good kit. Pen is large and heavy. It is impressive. I bought the pen kit and all the accessories to make it. The larger drill bit is a a bit out of round and vibrated my blank a bit but the insert fit ok when I glued it up. The kit is good quality and comes in a box instead of the normal plastic bag. I had no trouble with assembly and it looks great. It's hard to get a fair price since startup costs of bits, etc are high. I need to sell several in order to make a profit.
