The quickest and most convenient pen mandrel on the market. The "keyless" feature allows you to instantly hand loosen and tighten a collet that secures the 7mm mandrel shaft. Plus you can quickly slide and lock the shaft so you get the exact length of your turning and a guaranteed perfectly concentric fit. You’ll no longer deal with the hassle of spacer bushings or separate tightening wrenches. The system also includes five 7mm bushings, knurled nut, 7mm brad point drill bit and knurled lock nut and tightening bars (to use if needed).

adjustable mandrel works!

It costs 1.5 x's the sliding mandrel but works better. No need to keep 2 wrenches at the lathe. Centering is perfect. Can turn one 2.5 inch k-scope then switch immediately to a 5" pen!

This Mandrel is a great addition to my lathe. It is easily adjusted to any size pen blanks I am turning. I would recommend it to anyone stepping up in their pen turning skills.

I really like the adjustable pen mandrel its very nice not to have to use so many spacers. The only problem I had was I got a 7mm bit with it and another 7mm bit in a different part of the order and both of them were bent and were not useable.

When tightened this mandrel will not slip. Also the parts are all very low profile so that if you touch them when the lathe is moving you will not get hurt.
