Wood and Pen Blanks

We've hand selected the most beautiful woods in the world in the most popular sizes for your mini lathe projects. You'll find that the color and grain of our wood blanks will provide you with outstanding pens, bowls and spindle projects. Although we try to offer consistent wood quality, grains and color will vary from blank to blank. Because of the inconsistent availability of many species, we generally do not backorder woods and reserve the option to substitute species in combo paks.
Jumbo Pen Blanks by Species - These are blanks that you will have to drill. This group includes tropical, exotic and rare wood.
Spindle Blanks - The most desirable species are offered in 1-1/2" x 12" and 2" x 12" sizes. Suitable to cut for wider projects and spindle projects like candle sticks and rails.
Bowl Blanks - A wide variety of unusual species are provided for making small bowls. Sizes are generally 5" x 5" x 2".
Pre-Drilled Wood Blanks - We've done the hard part here to offer you a wide variety of spiecies that are ready to cut and glue in your pen tubes. Our EZ and Quick blank lines offer blanks already cut to size. Our super blanks are pre-drilled and pre-turned to make your job even easier.
Plastic Pen Blanks - These intricate colorful blanks will help you make pens that rival the most expensive pens available commercially. The Aqua pearl line is even pre-drilled and pre turned to expedite your turning project.
Alternative Materials - Currently include Deer Antler and Banksia Nuts with more to come. Projects made with these materials will be real conversation pieces.
