Unusual project

At first this seemed like overkill just for a shop pencil. The finished pencil is very nice and also very useful. I never can find a pencil when I need it but when the pencil is this nice I tend to keep track of where I left it. I keep two in my shop and have given many as gifts.

not perfect

This item works great and looks nice but I am thinking it would be better if it had a clip on it I have already broken the one I made for myself because I put it in my pocket and leaned up against something so the wood cracked.

All my customers have to do is hold this pencil and they want one. It has substantial weight to it and the built-in sharpener and heavy duty style really make it stand out. I've never seen anything like it. Only down side I can think of is that the lead is not easy to find at the stores customers are used to.
