This item looks very high quality, better than included with most pens.

These work very well, far better than some I have used for "big name" fountain pens that are far from low-cost. I also like these far more than the standard refills, as you can use whatever ink you choose. And if you have never used a fountain pen, they write so much nicer when filled with a high-quality ink. Just this refill and some really good ink can really make that fountain pen shine! Disregard the other 3 star review. In my opinion, it should be removed as it is not an accurate assessment of the product in question, but a customer upset about his own decision to purchase something he didn't need.
