My egg kalidescope turned out really nice. The wood is beautiful when polished. The wood is very hard though and took a long time to get the finished product. But I still would buy it again. The outcome was worth it.

These blanks result in beautiful looking wine bottle stoppers. They are by their very nature HARD, so be prepared for that. The only negative comment is that I wish they were supplied in 1 1/2 x 1 1/2. There is a considerable amount of turning to get these down to size. But when you do, they are beautiful.

After turning several of the blanks I find that the colors are even prettier than pictured in the catalog. Very happy with them.
