I use this little chuck exclusively with the turning mandrels I make on my machine lathe. It's simple and easy to take apart for cleaning and lubing. Only downside is the johnny bars didn't last very long, I broke the tips off of both of them in about a month. No big deal, I just use a pair of nail set to tighten the chuck now.

I have used this chuck for a few weeks now and it works great for me. Being a 2" chuck, you aren't going to use it for large diameter turnings, but it works well for stuff in the 1 1/2 to 1/4 " diameter. I have found you have to use the tommy bars to tighten all the way around the chuck to get a really good grip. Also the chuck was a little rough at first but has been broken in by usage to be really smooth. I like it!

My lathe dosen't have a morse taper, so I bought this chuck to hold small spindles and it does what I want it to, except I have to check the chuck every so often because the chuck loosens.

This is a nice little chuck that is great for holding on to small pieces or mandrels with out a collet. I have recommended this chuck to others and they have had the same results.

This chuck works great on the Mini Lathe for holding smaller items. Looks and feels like quality, and works smoothly. Was not as intimidating as the larger chucks. Would much prefer a key, than the rods, for adjusting jaws.

I turn small bird houses used as tree ornaments, previous I had to make jam chucks to hold some of the pieces but now can use this chuck. Makes the process safer and much easier.

I make alot of Christmas decorations this time of year--and this chuck is great. Works perfect for the small ornaments. I also found it great for the small paper clip holders that I make. Perfect little chuck--holds items great.

Well built and very versatile. Goes perfectly well on my mini lathe. It's even better than I thought it would be, based on the price. I use it all the time.

Now we have a chuck that is just like the big ones. Works great on my lathe and is true. How can I work without this little jewel.
