Sharp Sharpening Kit

This is great. It is easy to use and takes very little time to get a perfect edge on your chisels. This kit took away the fear of mis-sharpening and making my chisels useless.

4pc precision sharpening system

Great sharpening jig - but don't get cheap now, go ahead and buy a good stone to go on your grinder or you loose half the precision of the jig.

Good Value but Instructions Need Improving

Sharpening System works great, just like the more expensive Wolverine model at a different workers supply but the instructions fall way short. Was able to use the Wolverine on-line instruction manuals to set up and use this system. All-in-all, a good buy and very useful in my shop.

System Adds Speed and Consistency

I have always used a grinder with either an adjustable flat platform or a basic tool rest to grind freehand. This sharpening system yields a better edge more quickly than grinding freehand. The consistent curved bevel required on spindle and bowl gouges is easily and quickly achieved. Installation was a breeze. Fitting the parts together took just a quick touch with a file to remove a minor burr. I was gratified to find that this system is robustly made and well finished. The aluminum extrusions are quite thick and strong. The steel parts are nicely made with good welds and machine work. I was not sure I needed a sharpening jig, but this system has added to what I can do in my shop.

This is exactly what I needed - BUT

Love the system and use it daily. Very poor instruction - not to Penn state standards. Installed per the instructions the tightening bolts do not fit under the guard. To keep the recommended distance had to purchase seperate bolts and use a wrench to tighten. Although cheaper than the rest - question the trade off.

Tool performed as designed. Long tool support was binding in the sleeve and needed to sand down the finish to get it to slide.

Very easy to use. Did not realize how important sharp tools are until I used this system. The price was very competitive compared to other systems available. Would recommend this product to all wood turners.

Sharpening System

It is better than I had hoped for. Great price for everything that you receive. Top quaility craftsmenship. Was able to get all tools sharpened for myself and a freind in less than two hours including the set up. Highly recommend this system.

Great accessory!

This turning tool accessory is a great addition to my shop. It takes all of the guess work out of sharpening all of my turning tools. Don't know why I didn't buy it sooner!

Lathe Tool Sharpening made easy

I purchased the 4 pcs Precision Sharpening System so I could have a precision angle on my lathe tools at all times. After sharpening my knives using this system I will never have to guess at angles again. I set my angles on all the tools and made marks on all the tools so now I will always be able to return to the same cut on my different styles of tools. This system is above and beyond !
