Get a better bite on your spindle

With this precision engineered Super Drive Center. More teeth give a better bite while providing equal pressure and a positive drive. There is no need to hammer your drive center into the work piece and risk splitting your work. A spring loaded point simplifies the positioning of your spindle in the center and retracts to avoid spitting your work when tailstock pressure is applied. Compatible with headstocks with #2MT spindles. Crown is 1" wide for narrower work.

This drive center IS super

I have been working with a 4-prong center, but a friend talked me into trying the super, 1", center. The many fine teeth grab the wood so much more easily than the 4 prongs did. I'm just sorry that I didn't get one sooner. And this one comes for a reasonable price!

Really like it because it has done so much better than any other drive center I have ever used. I would recommend it to anyone who is into woodworking. Reasonably priced item.

From the first time I uses this drive center I was able to create the items that I wanted from 2 in down to under one inch. It is made of quailty materal and easy to insert in the my 60 year old lathe. I am going to buy a few more in different sizes.

This drive center performs very well. Easy to install and holds very tight in both hard and soft wood and either end grain or cross grain.

This center really improved my spindle turning. The center point is spring loaded and outside teeth get a great bite. Can't beat this thing for the money.

I purchased this item for my Delta Midi lathe. I was thinking of a new lathe prior to getting this drive center but not anymore. I make canes and other 36" spindle work so a good drive center is essential. This drive center made my lathe cut much smoother, the grip on the wood is excellent and it is very easy to center your project due to the spring-loaded center point. The improvement is amazing. I highly advise anyone to buy this item. This drive center will greatly improve your lathe work. Why spend 3 times the cost for some other brand when this one is perfect!!
