This center is very well made and finished perfectly. The fit to my lathe spindle was great. I have used another drive spindle that worked but takes mush longer to fit up than this one. I have used it on approximatelu 15 spokes and I'll have to say that it is a great tool. This drive center holds better than the one i was using that i had to hammer into the end of the spoke. No splitting with this one and holds tight with less pressure from the tail stock.
Great addition to my tools.

Originally ordered the wrong size, sent back, reordered the correct size. Customer service was great.

i have had problems when trying to "seat" my old drive center. It would tend to split the piece. This drive center really grabs the work piece without splitting it!

For the price you cannot expect to be like a Sorby. The spring loaded point is a little stiffer than I expected. The teeth angle is such it still can slip in hard maple. Still better than a four prong.

This is a nice drive center for small projects. I use it for turning 2" X 2" blanks. I have had some slipage problems during roughing as the teeth are pretty small. I use mostly poplar and cedar for making fishing lures. Overall, I am pretty satisfied and use it all the time. A little longer teeth would make it a 5.
