GREAT LITTLE TOOL. CUTS FAST. SHANK BROKE OFF MY OLD PEN MILL WHILE IN THE DRILL. THE SHANK WAS THREADED AND WEAKENED. THIS ONE HAS A LARGER SHANK AND SHOULD NOT PRESENT A PROBLEM.

For some reason the inside of the live tailstock center has become unscrewed twice during use. There were no instructions in the box it came in. I have attempted to tighten it the best I can. There was no tool in the box to do so. It works well except for the above mentioned problem.

Heavy duty and very well made. It works great and fits perfectly. A great addition to my lathe tools.

I really like this tool. It permits my shaping of that end of the workpiece. The price is also remarkably realistic, which seems to be uncommon for things dealing with turning. Penn State Industries is holding prices at a reasonable level. Other suppliers seem to be in an exploitative mood.
