Fantastic kit, but

We've made several of these kits and have been having trouble with using Ebony on the upper tube. They all have split after a month or two. We will be switching to one of the plastic blanks for the top. Hunters love this pen turned out of deer antler.

Amazing style

This pen is truly unique and the mechanics show great resemblance to the real thing. I made my first over and under shotgun pen with a woodland camo acrylic for the body and a dark wood for the top, and the results were stunning. This is my best seller and I would recommend this for any ambitious pen turner.

MIGHTY BIG PEN!!

THIS PEN TURNED OUT TO BE EASIER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD. THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD, WAS THAT THE DRILL BIT THEY SENT WAS MUCH TOO BIG FOR THE LONG BLANK. I HAD TO USE A LOT OF GLUE AND YOU CAN SEE A TINY GAP BETWEEN THE TUBE AND BLANK. BUT, IT SURE IS A MIGHTY BIG PEN.

Over & Under Shotgun kit

This was my first kit outside of a slimline. I used buffalo horn for the shotgun shell and curly maple for the bottom. Looked pretty good. People were impressed.

Stunning Shot Gun Pen

The biggest pen I've turned yet, but it went just fine. I used black ebony for the shell and tamarind for the bottom. My Sergeant was in absolute shock when he was presented with it. He loved it!

Over & Under Shotgun Pen Kit

Very substantial pen - probably the largest I've seen. All metal external components makes for a high-quality kit, although the plating on the couplers was a bit rough. An excellent collectors piece, and the roller ball version has generated quite a bit of interest. Have orders for several custom pens and expect more. An excellent quality kit, right down to the refill spring.
