This mold is made from platinum-cure silicone with a Shore 30A hardness. The block-style design is thicker and sturdier than mass-produced blanket molds, resisting warping and keeping its shape pour after pour. A smooth glassy finish ensures castings look professional, while interlocking split seams keep the mold aligned and make de-molding simple when secured with rubber bands. The mold withstands up to 450 degrees and with proper care you can expect 25 to 40 or more castings before replacement. For best results use a like Alumilite Clear Slow, pressure cure for bubble-free results, and apply mold release prior to pouring to extend mold life. Made in the USA and designed for repeated use, this mold gives you the flexibility to create cat pen stands in any tone or finish you choose.
