Sanding Strips

This is, without a doubt, one of the best deals on the market for sanding pen blanks and other turnings! The price may seem a little high, but the sheets seem like they last forever. I have used the abranet sheets over and over and all you have to do is shake them a little bit to return them to use again. This is a great product that I recommend for use by all turners!

Abbrasive

Do not, I repeat, do NOT let this stuff run across your skin, specifically, the back of your knuckles. It will remove the turf instantly and you won't even feel it, til 10 seconds later. On the other hand, pun intended, it removes wood surface imperfections magnificently and works very much like drywall screen. The dust falls right through the holes in the material, and what sticks will come right out with a tap on something solid. Try it and see.

Sanding Mesh are Great Products

These sanding meshes are wonderful. They can easily be bent to conform to my small projects and then shaked out ready to go again. I have shared this product with my fellow carvers and we all agree they are a great sanding product. We like having the various grades in each pack and would like to be able to buy single grits (ie all 220) in one package.

Great especially for very small items on the lathe, like a necklace pen or magnifying glass.

This stuff is great. Sands like no tomorrow. Doesn't clog. Have used on 15 duck calls and it leaves a great surface

Great Product

I didn't think this was going to make a very big difference in the quality of my work. Boy was I wrong. I thought this stuff was amazing on acrylic materials. Good stuff!

Very good product

Having used the sandpaper rolls on many types of wood and acrylic, I was impressed at the amount of time that the sanding mesh saved me. You really can just flick off the dust--it even works well for rough-sanding acrylics. I found that the mesh lasted for a very long time (20+ pens). Each of the sheets can be cut in half for working on pens, thus making the material you receive go a long way.

I tried the Abrabet sanding mesh 10 pack. They are great. They don't clog up very easily. They should last a lot longer than regular sandpaper.

Sanding Mesh doesn't pack with dust

I love the way the sanding mesh allows the dust to pass through, or can be cleared easily with a simple flick of the mesh. I highly recommend.

Abranet

Abranet sanding doesn't get any better. Abranet sands cleanly and smoothly. It is excellent on all materials and it can be cleaned and reused over and over.
