THE ONLY BAD THING WITH THIS IDEM IS THAT THE HOLDER HAS COME APART. THIS WOULD NOT HAPPENING IF THE HOLDER WAS MADE OF WOOD.

Works good except..

Except the metal is very soft so it will curl the ends as you work with it, but use a fine grit grinder or sand wheel and you can get the sharp edges off. My biggest issue with this set, is that the 3/32 punch folded over the first time I used it. The 7/64th punch folded after about the 6th use, rendering both punches that are used for taking apart slimlines, worthless. other than the issues outlined here, i have had no further problem. If you want a dis-assembly tool just for slimlines, look at the other tool that PSI has listed on their site.

Works Well

Does the job and does it well. I ended up using this much more than I planned. My only issue would be that steels a little soft. I could flatten out the tops fairly easily but for the price the set is worth it.

Punch set

I recently purchased the pen disassembly punch set. With all of the different sized punches that were available, it made disassembling a pen a breeze. I had the pen apart in just a couple minutes with no damage to any of the parts.

I had pens stacking up that needed repair. Too often I'd use the wrong tool to try and pry it apart with ill results. This is a shop staple that everyone should have!

I hate to say just how often I use this tool. It has saved several pens from my own haste and carelessness.

I have disassembled several Cigar pens that I had errors on from my learning process. I didn't want to waste the kit hardware and this pen disassembly punch set does the job. Taking the pens apart was an easy task. I have also taken some European pen kits. Thanks for the kit. It will save a lot of money in the long run.
