Drill Chuck Mandrel for 1-1/2" Mini Vanity Projects - Simplifies Turning Vanity Project Discs

Adhere a blank that is 3/16" thick to the face of the mandrel and turn to the exact diameter required. The mandrel simlifies turning the project disc to exactly the correct diameter. Mandrels are designed to fit in a lathe using a mounted drill chuck with a 3/8" capacity. Compatibel with pewter mirror projects PKCMSS and PKCMOS.

These Drill Chuck Mandrels are a godsend when turning accurate inserts for vanity projects like Purse Hangers and Mirrors. They save time by negating the need for constant measuring while turning the delicate insert. These sturdy mandrels stand up to heavy use. Eventually, I expect I'll have one of each diameter.

I have several different sizes of this type mandrel and like them all, a good two-sided tape is a necessity. They are easy to work with and handy to have around.
