I'm not a professional wood turner so I can't see spending $300.00 for a set of chisels and when I came across this 8 piece set for only $69.00 and said this I can do... Thanks Penn State Ind...

My wife and I are new to turning and was recommended by many to buy the Benjamin's Best HSS. So far they work great and keep an edge for a good while. I am overall very satisfied.

A "no frills" set of chisels that perform beautifully. Highly recommended for the beginner.

Arrived in good condition, good fit in the hand and nice finish. Great set for a beginner, all the tools needed to start turning. Two improvements could be made, if the skews were oval and the parting tool diamond shaped. Other than that very happy with the purchase, very good value! I will buy from PSI again.

This set of 8 popular tools seems to be of high quality for the price. I have used half of the tools now for projects with no complaints. Only real complaint I have is that within a few days of receiving my set, I received an ad from Amazon, offering the exact same set for $10 less, plus free shipping. Disappointment:(
