Keep your turning, sanding and finishing tools and supplies close at hand with a custom-built tray. To make the tray use a piece of ½” plywood for the base with a cleat on the bottom side to fit snugly between the lathe bed rails. Band along all four sides of the base 1” taller than the base to prevent your supplies from sliding off. When you’re finished your project, simply return the tools and supplies to their normal storage area.
