Authentic Post Office Lock Box Door

Make a handsome savings bank with one of these brass, Grecian style genuine antique door mechanisms. Each lockbox door was actually once in service as a postal box in a U.S. Post Office. Doors are solid brass with working combination locks, hinges and mounting flanges. Two sizes available.

Doors are in the same condition as when they were removed from the Post Office. They will require cleaning and may require some adjustment. Windows may be glass or plexiglass and may or may not have numerical decals.

Peppermill Mechanism

This attractive working peppermill mechanism is ideal for a rustic dinner table setting. Mount it onto a box or onto a turning. Requires a hole about 1" in dia to pass the pepper. Overall size is 2" dia x 5" h with all cast metal working parts and a bronzed housing.
