I am very new to pen turning and only got into it to use up the small scraps from my furniture projects. Thus, I am not a very skilled wood turner.
I bought 20 of these kits to make up and send to our troops overseas. They are very easy to make and look GREAT! Beyond that, they have a rubber gasket that I am sure will serve the troopers well in their dusty conditions. Wonderful product!!!

I just wanted to let you know that I won a Blue Ribbon First Place in the "Over 60" Woodworkers Division at the Iowa State Fair this week. The entry was a Tulipwood Roller Ball Pen. The wood, the kit, and the finish were all from Penn State and was turned on a Micro Lathe also from Penn State.
