Lipstick 24kt Gold Twist Pen Kit

Just finished my first one. Looks great when finished. Ran into just one issue when squaring the ends- The bushing set comes with a spacer that fits over a 7mm barrel trimmer. The fit between the trimmer & the spacer was very close & in the process of trimming, the trimmer made a tiny burr inside the spacer, the burr scored the outside of my trimmer & the 2 got stuck together. After separating the 2 & sanding the the scores from the trimmer, I used light machine oil on the inside & outside of the spacer & it worked like a charm.

Great pen

I've made many of these pens. Family and friends love them, especially in beautiful acrylic colors. I have one little draw back concerning the change of the refill. Many find it hard to remove the empty refill. I've tried to correct this difficulty by putting a little bees wax on the end of the refill, its helps a bit. Any suggestions...

Feels great, a little difficult to put together due to the Refill guide. I used Kingwood on this pen and it looks great.

Liked the lipstick pen kit. My wife liked it a whole bunch. Would like to see it come in more choices in material,like chrome or silver,even copper.Also maybe if it came in a smaller size dia. to make it easier to use with people with small hands.Thanks fflazzie@hotmail.com
