I suggest the Turncrafter Pro starter set to any and everyone wanting to start turning pens. I received my starter set on 04/17/08 and on 04/19/08 I was completly done with all 20 pens and all 20 pencils. I guess I will go and order more. Thanks PSI. P.S. will tell all about PSI....

I defiantly thought this was a great start to getting into the craft of pen and pencil making, the only cons i would say to this is the fact that the kit i received came with only one type of wood - its great but didn't offer a great variety of making different example's of what one could offer to their future customers.

This was the perfect Christmas gift for my husband. He absolutly loves it! He likes working with wood and doing little projects. This is his first with pen turning and he is having so much fun. He plans on expanding on to other little projects to do with his lathe. I've played with it myself and I thinks it is pretty darn cool! Thanks, Penn State Ind.

i got this set 6 days after i ordered it. it's pretty awesome! i got behlen's woodturning polish instead of shellawax. but it's nice to start with. this was my 1st time of turning pens and their turning out pretty nice. thanks, psi!
