I really wanted to try pocket holes for when using biscuits wasn't quite right. I needed easy repeatability for a professional look so the little clamp-on type wasn't right for me. I also didn't want to spend a fortune on an occasional joining technique. This jig fit the bill. And it's rock solid so even though I don't use it everyday, it would certainly hold up to heavy use. I am very pleased and would recommend it to anyone.
