I run the wood shop at a military arts and crafts center and we have just gotten a wood turning program up and running and were able to buy two of these sets. I was skeptical of the quality at only $70, but was pleasantly surprised when I started to use them. I just had to touch the grinds up and get them sharp and I was turning. They hold an edge really well and are easy to control. I would go so far as to say they perform as well as any Sorby, Crown or Pinnacle tool that I've worked with. I would definitely recommend these tools to a friend.

The price on this set won't break the bank. They are definitely worth the price. They stay sharp for quite a while. We're happy with the purchase.

This was my first time trying to turn something on my new wood athe but I really liked the Benjamin`s Best six piece set I bought from Penn State. They look great and worked great. I have made two turned vessels so far and they are begging for more. I would recomend these to anyone looking for a nice set of woodturning tools at a great price.

I am a beginer at wood turning. This set has really worked well for me. If I wear these out they will be the next set I purchase as well.
