Great introduction to the entire pen turning process. I watched it several times before turning my first few pens and I think it definitely helped.

I'm new to turning and this chuck is simple to use and is very veratile. The jaws are easy to change. It's been fun to use.

I do a lot of work on a scroll saw and was interested in what is involved with pen making. The DVD does an excellent job of illustrating the whole process.

A pretty good primer on the basics of pen turning and finishing. The free price offer was certainly attractive and got me interested to the point where I'm now building elite pens/pencils. Even the basic models (Slimline and Comfort) draw rave reviews from users, especially when built with the figured woods and acrylics. A smart move by Penn to create this DVD.

I saw the ad at WOOD MAGAZINE's sight and thought, "What's the catch?" I clicked and was taken to the Penn State Ind. site and found out they even ship the DVD free. Great! I had planned to do pen making and the video provided well explained basics without information overload. It's what it takes to get you going and gives you the confidence to do it. I showed the DVD to my friend and after watching it we did the next logical step, ordered supplies from Penn State.
