Dear Sirs, I generally do not write notes concerning products I use, good or bad, because I have become callused to 'Madison Ave' type product descriptions. One of your products I purchased recently got 'new meat'! The product is a canister filter I bought to upgrade me dust collector. I can not remember being this pleased with a purchase, in quite some while! Everything needed to attach the filter to my machine was included! Nothing else to buy, and the overall performance of the dust collector improved dramatically! The fine layer of dust to which I had become accustomed is GONE! - Frank Washburn

This new filter is the most efficient and easiest way to collect the dust in a 2 bag dust collector. Advantages the filter canister has over traditional fabric bags include: Easier to clean. With standard filter bags you need to remove the bag and turn it inside out to really clean it thoroughly. With the canister filter you simply turn the handle on the top that rotates a cleaning flapper inside and shakes the dust from the filter. Easy dust removal. The canister system uses a plastic trash bag on the bottom – making it easier to dispose of your collected dust. This is not possible on a bag system because there is insufficient filtration area in the top bag to pass the CFM generated by the dust collector. More filter area. The filtration area on the canister is over 83 sq. ft. while two cloth filter bags have only 30 sq. ft. of area. This allows your dust collector to produce the maximum CFM Better filtration. The canister material has 1 micron filtration – giving it better filtration than 30 or 5 micron filter bags. The canister will adapt to any dust collector with a 20" rim. It includes a foam seal and lock knobs to secure it to the rim. Compatible with most 1-1/2hp and 2hp collectors on the market.
