Your project will shine and finish with an appearance that resembles genuine stone - but drills and turns similarly to acrylics. Tru-Sone™ blanks are made by a unique process by pulverizing semi-precious stones into a powder, then combines them with other natural pigments and resins. Sand and finish your finished Tru-Stone project with acrylic finishing products.

I was a little afraid of this material before I tried it. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is truly a pleasure to turn and the resulting pen is beautiful.

The Tru Stone Turqoise turned great and looks exactly like it should. The real thing. I made a Rhodium pen/pencil kits and it looked outstanding. My mother loves American Indian jewelry and she asked where I got it. She was surprised to know that I made it. It looks like the real stone, yet cuts like butter. Thank you for getting this product!
