Your project will shine and finish with an appearance that resembles genuine stone - but drills and turns similarly to acrylics. Tru-Stone blanks are made by a unique process by pulverizing semi-precious stones into a powder, then combines them with other natural pigments and resins. Sand and finish your finished Tru-Stone project with acrylic finishing products.

Found that it turns and finishes quite well, but when it is time to put the item together then one side will crack and blow out a good part of the item. I have tried it on two different items and it has done the same thing. I really am very leery of ordering it again, but I have a customer who really wants that particular item.

This blank yielded a nice finish and overall appearance, and was easy to turn. I combined it with Koa and Ebony on a cigar pen. The use of actual stone in a pen is appealing to customers. This pen sold the second day I had it on display. I will continue to use and feature the malachite and other Tru Stone blanks

The True Stone blanks are easy to work with and they produce strikingly good looking pens when used with a higher end kit

I used this product to make a Big Ben 24kt Gold Rollerball Pen (PKBIGRP). I used the PSI Plastic Finishing Kit (PKFINKIT) to 12,000 grit and the results were incredible. Whatever you decide to make with this product the result will be beautiful.
