Unexpected Beauty

When I received the blank, it looked black. I was concerned that I would not like it. After turning it and seeing all of the color come out, I was impressed. The color is what I wanted and more.

Very nice burl with great contrasting mix in the grain pattern with blue dominating. It works great on the lathe.
