Snakeskin Pen Blank w/ 8mm tube
Create an impressive and dazzling pen or pencil made with an exotic, unusual, and truly unique appearance. These new snakeskin blanks are made from rattlesnake skin which is carefully laminated directly on to the pen tube then is cast in a non-yellowing clear polyester resin.

Use a sharp turning chisels for best results. Turn the blanks the same as you would most acrylics. I turn the this blank and it had some air holes in it and it blew the blank. Tried to get it replaced and the sales rep. want me to send the blank back. I turn too many pens for the hassle. I would not buy this again. I did turn the Diamond Back Rattlesnake and it was great.

Great blank. One blank has enough material for two cartridge pens. Takes on great shine after using 1200 grit wet paper and using dark wax stick. Need to have sharp tools and turn with minor pressure; so, there is minor plucking of chunks from the blank
