This is the neatest pen I have ever made. Everybody so far has really liked the way it looks. I used this for the upper portion on a rifle bullet shell on the slim line designs. The blank made 2 pens.

With the exception of the acrylic in one blank, I have found these to be of good quality. They finish well and are very stable.

I got some of these about a year ago and they were very hard to turn for me at the time. What I know now is that you need very sharp tools and a light touch as stated in the instructions. Get some experience on cheaper plastic first and learn how to sharpen your tools and keep them sharp as you go. They do make very good pens. Its worth the time to do them.
