This is a great combination at a great price! The wood is very easy to work with and when finished they all have a very rich look to them. Very good for any type of pen.

This was the first group of materials I used for general purpose slimline and comfort pens. They performed very well. Just make sure your drill press is aligned correctly. They were too small to use on larger pens, but still a good starter group of woods.

They are okay. It would be nice if they were planed so it would be easier to plum them with a drill bit.
