This series of blanks is really great. Love the look of them, as do everyone that sees them. Polishes nicely and rubs to a nice, deep gloss. You do need to use caution when drilling, as you do with many blanks of the acrylic variety. One tip for acrylics, and especially chip prone acrylics, ONLY use high quality and extremely sharp drill bits designed for drilling pen blanks. Your average brad point bits simply are not going to cut it here! Also, go VERY slow when approaching the end of the blank. It's a good idea to back the bit out when you're close and cool it off fully before finishing. I find WoodRiver bits to be the best. Super sharp and drill very true.

The material looks great when turned. It even turns fairly easily with a sharp chisel (use a skew) but this blank is terrible to drill. Expect to lose ~1 of material due to fracturing when the bit exits. Cut your blanks long and you shouldn't have any problems after dressing the ends.
