Made from over 30 different species of recycled scrap hardwoods, these one of a kind blanks will enable you to easily create multi-layered, multi grained, multi-colored turning projects. These blanks are engineered using an exclusive complex process where the scrap is dimensioned, layered, segmented, stratified and glued up using strong and durable marine epoxy.

Looks are deceiving

I ordered the Strata Blank special. After sitting on the shelf for 7 weeks I decided to turn a small bowl. After many "break outs" chunks of wood flying out, an hour or more of sanding and filling, I finally gave up. This is not a product quality that is up to the standards of PSI. It does a diservice to the customer and to PSI. The good news is that after talking with customer service, they refunded purchase price. They were very professional and business like, and showed a sincere concern for customer sastifaction.

Very poor quality in this batch. We have ordered before however this time it was dissapointing.

i draw a blank on being anything close to special. i could have gotten much more and better product for my 100 dollars...
