Camo Great With 30 Cal Bullet Pen

This blank is a great match with the 30 cal bullet pen. It turns with a little more difficulty that wood, but overall a great turning result. I had a problem with one blank in that when I tried to make a small pilot hole in the end for drilling with a sharp punch, it split and a large piece about 1" long chipped away from the blank. I had to throw the blank away as it was unsable. Only had this problem with one blank.

Camouflage Acrylic Review

After having made several bullet pens using this camouflage acrylic I like the product very much because 1) it's easy to drill and turn 2) it polishes to a nice shine and 3) it's been popular for all my armory and hunting sports friends. When used with the bullet pen kits it makes a nice gift for gun enthusiasts, and possibly a popular sale item as well.

Forest camo blanks

These look fantastic with the 30 cal pen and each blank is enough for two of them. Smooth turning and polishes to a very high sheen. Tip: Keep the speed moderate when sanding & polishing; too much pressure at too high a speed and enough heat will be created to melt the turned blank (don't ask how I know this)!

Nice

It comes out nice but hard to turn, and had some voids in it but I worked around them. I will buy again but I perfer the camo swirl out on the market

Nice material for the cartridge pens

This is a nice material for the cartridge pens. It drills and turns well if you keep the tools sharp and polishes to a nice shine. I've used this blank on 3 or 4 pens and have been pleased with the results.

Turned easily. Did not need a finish when polished to 8000 grit.

Lava Bright Camo

This blank looks like the modern digital camoflauge when used with either of the Bullet Cartridge kits, it sells well.
