Carbon Fiber is a cutting edge reinforced polymer that we've incorporated into a pen blank. It's five times stronger than steel and much lighter. Because of its ultra lightweight strength its commonly found in cars, sophisticated sports equipment, high-performance sailing and musical instruments. These one of a kind pen blanks have the distinctive carbon fiber encapsulated in a UV resistant polyester resin. The blanks turn and finish the same as typical plastic pen blanks. Blanks are 3/4" x 3/4" x 5" with a pen tube pre-installed.

I have just finished my first carbon fiber pen and it turned out great! Just make sure your tools are sharp because the resign chips easily

I made a Big Ben Cigar Pen out of one of these and it turned out fantastic. I took it to work to show it off, and as soon as I took it out a co-worker bought it. Had to order more of these as they sell fast!

The carbon fiber blank turned and finished real easy. I used it with the vertex pen and it turned out real nice. For the price it was a great project.

Excellent. Rather brittle while turning but with care it makes a very clear and attractive pen. Take it slowly.

This is the first time I turned a Carbon Fiber pen blank and I was really impressed. As with all plastic blanks, you must use sharp tools and take your time. The results are worth it. I finished the blank using #PKFINKIT sanded to 12,000 and then One-Step polish. The glass-like surface with the carbon fiber showing below gives an elegant, 3-dimensional look. A black titanium pen finish compliments the unique look of carbon fiber.
