Pen Making Starter Set with Turncrafter Pro 1/2HP Midi Lathe & Extension Bed

Great way to start!

I purchased this starter set in Dec. 07 and have been turning everything possible since. The starter set comes with everything you need to start turning pens along with a set of chisels that come in handy for fine tuning your sharpening skills before tearing up your expensive chisel sets. I turned all 20 pens and pencils and plan to order more very soon. The lathe is easy to use and very easy to maintain plus the extension bed is easily attached for those longer jobs. I love the simplicity of everything. If you've never turned anything before this set will get you started and make you feel like a pro in minutes. Great product!

Great Machine!

I got my lathe starter kit back in October 2007, since then I have made more than 100 pens, I am sure having fun making modified Slimline pens out of scrap that I had laying around plus a few Exotic woods from around the world. I really enjoy penturning and experimenting with different type of wood, customer service was great, but the shipping seemed very high. All-in-All I am a satisfied Customer.

A Great Machine
