These pads are much to soft for bowls if you are turning medium or hard wood. I bought 4 and the first one spun out of the mounting, the second twisted off the foam backing. The other two are still functioning, but will not sand much as they are too soft. They might work for fine detail sanding, but are useless for everyday bowl sanding.

i have been looking for a good way to sand bowls so I bought this and put it in my air angle grinder and it worked great!
