The hook and loop components of this foam backed Bowl Sanding Hook & Loop Disc System will enable you to quickly and easily change from grit to grit. The foam backing pads and graduated sanding grits provide exactly the right combination for each step of the process. Layered foam rubber hook & loop sanding disc holders provide the perfect cushion for precision contour bowl sanding. Disc holders have 1/4" shafts and can be driven by our flex shaft tool for fast, precise finishing.

  • One soft hook and look sanding disc

In theory this is a good system. Sanded 1 bowl and the system fell to pieces. I can buy a lot of sandpaper for what this cost. Would I recommend this to a friend...NO! I will stay with the old way and just buy sandpaper.

The kit contains all the grits you'll need, and the stiff pad is perfect for the outside of bowls, while the soft pad conforms perfectly to the inside of bowls. I use this all the time, and it works great.

I have turned only a few bowls, but this system is all I need. The two pads, one softer and one firmer, give good control, and the grades of paper have produced excellent finishes. The pads are easy to change and last very well so far. I follow the 320 grit up with some EEE Ultra Shine, and I get a nice shine.
