Not usableThe wheels will not stay on the machine. No matter how tight I put them on, they end up flying off the spindles at the lowest speed setting. Since the wheels will not stay on, this product is not even usable. If anyone has any idea how to keep the wheels on the machine, I would love to hear it.

Nice product!Quiet and stable work, very smooth rotation adjustment. Great benefit for me - small size of complete package which include all what I need for such kind of work. I am really happy with the system!

Could be a great product -but isn'tThe motor seems well built and turns the right way. Unfortunately, this unit is going into the scrap heap beacause the buffing wheels will not stay on the unit. The "stepped" mandrels are worse than poor, They simply will not hold the buffing pads in position. Also, the RPMs (7000) is nuts. It should run between 500 and 4,000 rpms. Oh well, on to Craft Supply to get a buffer that actually works. This one is a waste of money because it doesn't work.

More than just a polisherI purchsed this system to try it for very small woodworking projects and by accident discovered something that made this tool well worth the money. I use the buffer not only to polish small itmes I use it to finish out the edges on my cutting tools as well as dress other tools. The micro edge you get using the compounds and the wheels far exceeds what you get with stones. Another plus is that it polishes the steel making it slip along the wood so much easier.
