The most popular yo-yo's these days have a ball bearing spindle instead of a fixed wood or metal post. Yo-yo's with a ball bearing spindle spin longer, sleep better and make it easier to perform complicated tricks. PSI spent nearly a year designing, testing, and perfecting this kit. The result is a yo-yo that works superbly and is easy to make. This project is made by turning the yo-yo sides on a 7mm pen mandrel using any style 10mm bushing set. Start with 5/8" thick wood for best results.

Love this Project Kit!

This is a great YoYo kit and fairly easy to make. they were a big hit with everyone I showed. The one suggestion I would give is to stay away from the Cocobolo and Bocote blanks for this kit. I found the uneven grain pattern makes for an unbalanced YoYo that did not spin very well. The Wenga and Padauk ones I made performed outstanding and look beautiful though! Will definitely be making more of these!

Easy to Make and Fun Toy

I had a lot of fun making a couple of these. Everything fits snugly and the yo-yo functions perfectly. Very easy to turn and assemble. I'm hoping to sell these in an upcoming craft show.

Too bad you stop at Five Stars...you folks rate at least TEN Stars for Service...and of course your products are always first rate. I have some smiling grandchildren all pleased with the yo yo's from your kits. Easy and fun to make,and you get a lot of childhood memories while turning them.
