TycoonThis was a great kit to make and I am in the process of buying a few more.

Great penkitsI just turned a few of these last week and they are great kit. Elegant pen in a simple to turn kit. Highly recommend these.

Tycoon kit is a winner! The Tycoon fountain pen kit is fast becoming one of my favorite kits. I originally purchased it because it is a fairly inexpensive kit in the 24k gold plating. After doing a few, I think it's worth paying a little more for the better platings as the style kit is worthy of them. It's somewhat understated design allows for the material to be the central part of the pen!

Great pen. I wish the nib was better protected. This is just as nice as the rollerball version. Best bang for the buck by a long shot. I would recommend it for anyone. My only issue: Every other fountain pen kit has a plastic tube of some sort for the nib in the package. For some reason the Tycoon nib comes floating around in the bag with the rest of the parts, and I've had to check and straighten a couple of them. It just seems like a silly oversight to me.

Tycoon roller ballThis kit is one of the best on the market. All parts fit nicely and tightly and the overall quality of the pen is superior to other pen kits in the same class. I would definitely recommend this fairly priced kit to any serious pen turner

Tycoon Fountain Pen KitSmooth sleek looks for a mid priced screw-cap pen. Easily assembles. A good sturdy looking design and feel.

Awe InspiringGreat pen kit, was my first "high end" fountain pen. I should have gotten more, they look amazing! I have made several and they made great segmented and closed end pens. I also made an aluminum one on my dad's metal lathe, it has a sort of 20's feel to it. It reminds me of the Chrysler Building.
