I can't seem to make enough of these pens. Both my wife and daughter work in classrooms. I made a few as Christmas gifts and they were a huge hit. They are easy to make and easy to assemble. If you are making a bunch then get an extra set of bushings and do a bunch of short pieces together and the main bodies together on the mandrel. Doing one species of wood at a time makes finishing easier. My only complaint is that they don't have precut replacement tubes available. All in all a great kit. Easy to assemble and liked by all who have received one.
