Good product, misleading web page

Good base coat for CA finishes. This item was ordered with several other items and USPS Priority Mail shipping was selected. PSI changed shipping method without consulting customer. Excuse given: USPS would not accept it. For those products with shipping or any other restrictions their associated web page should be annoted so important information is not hidden. 4 stars for the product, 0 stars for service for an average of 2 stars.

WOW!

Shellawax liquid is a dream to use - easy to use and puts down a great finish on all the pens I have used it on. A little bit goes a long way.

Shellawax

Works really well for a nice soft touch. I would apply liberally for a really nice shine. Remember to use the fastest speed possible and pressure to cure it faster.

Quick Finish

This stuff does what it claims. It goes on easy on the bare wood and shines up nicely. Your expectations should be for a high gloss finish that will wear moderately well, but could not be considered permanent. The price was attractive, and getting the smaller bottle, or sampler, is great because you just don't use that much on each pen. It's good stuff, and does a quick job on polishing bare wood.

Better than Behlen's Woodturner's Polish

We had been using Behlen's Woodturner's Polish, which worked pretty well, but didn't seem to hold a shine if the piece was handled much. This stuff makes a shinier, more durable finish. May take a little practice--I had it get sticky and gummy on me a time or two. That's why this sampler is great, and it goes a long way for such a little bottle!

Shellawax Sampler

Super fine product! The one-ounce size sampler allows a turner to try out Shellawax without having to purchase a bigger bottle to determine if it suits personal needs. If you follow directions, it DOES work extremely well on small turnings -- pens, bottle stoppers, key chain kits, etc. And it seems more durable than other friction polishes I've used. I'll be ordering a big bottle of Shellawax next time I order from PSI.

easy to apply

Shellawax Sampler

A great way to try products. You won't be disappointed in the finish and how simple it is to use. Only open question is its durability. Time will tell.
