- I'd just purchased a lathe and wanted to start out with something easy and complete. I found this kit had everything to get going right away. - I put it to use right away and by the second day had very nice quality pens and pencils. - An artist friend that sells her artwork at fairs saw the pens and pencils and wanted to take them for her booth, commenting on the high quality compared to other pens and pencils she's seen. - I found 3 other places that sell Starter Sets and Penn State Industries had the most complete/best value offering.
