Copper Slimline pen

The copper color is very good for darker redish woods such as Australian Lace, and Blood Wood. It does not have as good effect as the gold color on lighter woods or black woods. A very good item for pen makers to have for the customer who is looking for somthing a little bit different.

Copper Funline Pen

The copper funline is in my opinion the best looking of all the slimline pen kits. However I have noticed that the finish will wear off easier than the other slimlines. This is the only reason I rate this pen a 4 instead of 5 stars. Good product PSI.

copper slimline pen kit

The copper pieces were fine, there is a little issue with quality control of the brass tubes. This has been noticed on all Penn State pen kits. Some tubes are not an exact 7mm and require some sanding to fit properly.

I find the pen kits easy to use. The same length tube inserts, make cutting and triming the blanks easier. The assembly of the pen is easy. The reviews from the people who has seen my work has all been positive.

Funline Pens

I have put together over 350 Funline Pen Kits. I make 30.06 Pens with them, I just love them and do sell them fast. The twist mechanisms is it weak spot, but all and all I still like them. Garry

funline copper pen kits

I would have given this item 5 stars but recently several of my kits from my last order have arrived with the copper nib scratched (and still in the small zip lock bag). I have had to open another kit to use the nib from it, rendering that kit as parts. It would be great to order just the copper nibs, but whay are they scratched before opening the kits?. Otherwise not accounting the scratched nibs above mentioned, I love the kits and will continue to purchase them as I use them in my business.
