Missing plastic piece

This is really a neat idea. If when you get it it's all there. It came missing the foot on the blank hold down clamp. Now they want me to send it back with my money. When they get it they will send a replacement. Am I wrong to think maybe they should send a replacement with a return postage tag.

Well built jig

We've used this jig for some time and not only is it well built, aluminum channel, but it's accurate and makes cutting blanks a breeze. Only drawback is that it doesn't work for short blanks like those used on the teacher's pen.

I was attracted to this jig by the ability to cut and square pen blanks. It does so well. But I have a problem with the workmanship of the jig itself. First of all the instruction sheet leaves alot out. It says nothing about the screw that adjust the front sliding part( closest to the blade) I had to figure that part out. Small it itself but confusing at first. How for the real bother, the knob that holds the blank in place, the bracket that holds this knob and screw was not drilled properly! So the knob and screw are about 15 degrees off straight up 90 degrees. This shows poor assembly practice. I looked on the box to see where it was made but none was shown. So I can only assume it was in China. So be it. Overall not a bad jig.

Pen blank sizer

Fantastic to use and easy set up. I can get wood at local cabinet shop, use chop saw to size and finish with this blank sizer. I save $$$ and get an accurate cut. Highly recommend this attachment.

Great product. Easy to use and saves a great deal of sanding time and the possibility of burning your wood blank while sanding. I leave the jig on a small saw and use it frequently.

I use this jig to cut blanks on my table saw. I just use it in conjunction with my table saw miter guide by holding it snug against the miter guide. The instructions didn't make much sense to me, but it works great the way I use it.

I turn a lot of small projects, included a lot of Pens and Pencils. I have had this unit for a few years and just purchased another for my Father that I have gotten into turning. This is an excellent product and can't imagine not using it. This makes cutting pen blanks very exact with out any danger of using the Power Miter Saw.

Almost Perfect

The clamping knob is too wide and hits against the center part of the cover on a small miter saw. Slight modifications and it works like a dream.
